Eligibility Requirements
The Directors will consider qualified applications received from organizations that are exempt from taxation under the Internal Revenue Code Section 501 (c)(3). If you are a 509 (a)(3) Supporting Organization, please be prepared to provide additional information. Grants are not made to support individuals.
Grant Cycle and Deadline Information
The Foundation’s Directors meet annually in the spring and fall. February 1 and August 1 are the deadlines for submitting grant proposals to be considered at the spring and fall meetings, respectively. Organizations should not expect to be funded in both cycles, and therefore are asked to submit proposals only once per calendar year.
Grant Range
The average grant size based on the history of the Foundation’s grantmaking is $5,000 to $25,000. There is no stated minimum or maximum grant amount per organization.
